Baby Blues...

From newborn to 1 year, I have had the privilege to photograph this beautiful little girl with the most stunning baby blue eyes! It must be the UNC colors that have rubbed off and landed straight in her eyes. I will sometimes liven up the eyes a bit post-processing, with her, there was no need for that. At the end of the studio session, we had a bit of fun and brought out the smash cake. She was a lady and didn't smash it, but she did manage to get icing smears all over her face, ears, hair... just too sweet! Happy Birthday Baby Blues!

P.S. for you photographers out there, I bought a piece of white vinyl plank (I think that is what it is called) at Home Depot. It is sold in a 6ft by 12ft plank and looks like tile on the topside and is about 1/2 inch thick. It is great flooring for a white backdrop and more especially for naked baby shots and smash cake shots because it is very easy to clean up or disinfect! ;-)
