Puppy Glamour Shots: Tes

My neighbor is truly and angel and her hubby is the king of angels... I guess a guy can be a king of angels?! ;-) The reason I have given them the status of sainthood... they work with the C.A.R.E Animal Rescue program in which they foster as many as three puppies at a time and work through their puppyhood until they can be adopted out. They usually take in the puppies at 6 to 8 weeks and will typically foster them until they have been spayed/neutered and adopted out to another loving home. Not only do they patiently work through the house training, teaching commands, temperament training, dogging the razor sharp puppy teeth, they also work with those families who want to give the rescued pups a new home. On top of all that, they have to hand over the sweet pups to the new families which I am sure is heartbreaking and heartwarming all in one! They also adopted one of their foster rescues whom was actually already 14months old and such a sweet and troubled soul. When Simon first came to stay, even the most gentle attempt at petting him would cause him to cower in terror, about 1 year later, he will now so sweetly come up to me, lick my hand with his tall wagging happily and has gotten so brave as to ram your hand when you stop petting him. I feel the tears coming, so I will finish off this post here... if you would like to give a rescue animal a loving home, please go to the below link.

Below is their newest foster pup - Tes at her glamour shot session. Her information will be on the above website by tomorrow.
