Holiday Family Portraits: From Diving to Photos!

My hubby and I first met Kathe and Peter at the one "group" setting that I have been able to stay joined with, Gypsy Divers (http://www.gypsydivers.com/). They were certified to open water scuba dive with Gypsy Divers, as Randy and I were, and we all signed up for a group trip on a live aboard out of San Juan, Puerto Rico. I figure, if you don't kill each other during a week long trip stuck on a rather small boat, you will always be able to remain friends! ;-)

We have remained friends and have gone on a couple more dive trips together as well as taken a stress and rescue class together. They are such a caring couple and just darn fun! They are also very much dog lovers, so you know any dog lover is a friend of mine! ;-)

Before the holidays, they wanted to try and capture some photos of their two adopted furry family members. One of the adopted sweeties is very skittish and shy and is not a friend of the camera and in particular the flash. So I decided to whip out my 70-200mm (1.2) with no flash and see how she did. Apparently, it didn't look quite like her mortal enemy, so she politely sat and let me snap away. They were just the cutest fur balls and I had such a great time watching all their funny nuances and habits.

You must love dogs! They are the best! ;-)
