In mid October, I had the great opportunity to photograph the wedding of my nephew in-law and his beautiful bride. I thoroughly enjoyed the fact that I could be apart of such a special day with family, and be able to do what I love! The now husband and wife, Kenny and Tara were high school sweethearts that fell in love as young adults and their love has only grown deeper into that special love that endures all.
To celebrate their upcoming wedding, a rehearsal dinner was held for them by Kenny's parents, my brother in-law and sister in-law. The rehearsal dinner took place at Kenny's parent's house and when my friend (helper/second shooter) and I arrived at the house, I was speechless. Debbie, and her helpers, created such a warm and inviting ambiance that fit perfectly with a beautiful cool fall day. All of these lovely warm candles were set about, a fire pit was started that could mesmerize (Tracy), and the food was outstanding! I can honestly say that I do not recall the last time I ate meatballs (maybe back in the 80's?). Well, I am hear to tell you that I ended up eating two meatball subs at the rehearsal dinner, and just thinking about those meatball subs makes me hungry! At the end of the evening, and after a long battle with the projector, we were all finally able to watch a slide show of pictures of Kenny and Tara from birth to present. Most importantly, we were able to have a good chuckle over Kenny's mullet at age 3 or 4 yrs old. Seriously awesome! ;-) I will refrain from blogging those pics... cause you know we all had "bad" hair days in our past!
Awesome job Debbie and Ken on the beautiful decor, ambiance, company, and food!
Beautiful centerpieces!
