Fun in 2010: Amanda's Favorites
I thought I would do a little post of some fun camera and non camera favorites of mine for 2010.
1) Vibram Fiver Finger Shoes! They are the best. One of our neighbors told us a while ago about these shoes that were gaining in popularity because it brought back a more "barefoot" approach to shoes by separating the toes. He told us that he was actually running in these shoes and at the time, I thought, just another fade... how could that be comfortable. OMG! I love, love, love these shoes now. I am totally hooked and will probably get a pair of the black to wear at weddings. They do take a little while to get used to, the calves tend to cramp up after a couple hours of wearing at first. This is a must try!

2) Kelly Moore Bag! I have to say that I am one of those women that just doesn't quite understand the whole "Coach" bag intrigue, well, not until I stumbled across the Kelly Moore Bag. I can honestly say that I used to poke fun at those whom would spend a month's salary on a purse, but now that I am a Kelly Moore Bag owner, I am finally starting to see that quality always costs more. Thankfully the Kelly Moore Bag does not break the bank, but it is definitely the most I have ever spent on a purse... but since it is also a camera bag, I feel a justification is not even necessary! ;-) This bag is great for weddings, on location portrait sessions, travel. I traveled to Colorado with this bag and it was the first time I was truly able to combine my purse and camera bag. It also is sturdy enough that you can sit it down with a 5D Mark II and 70-200 Lens and it will not topple over! Must check out these bags. They also have a new bag out that I am eying, it would be great for rainy days because it has a zipper and flap!

3) Pocket Wizards - Actually any Wireless Triggers: We have actually had these for a while, but I would say that this is a must have for wedding photographers! Great for group portraits and fun reception shots!
