Personal: Portraits, World Cup, Yard Saling, Gypsy Diving, Shopping

You know it's summer when you start Saturday morning at 6am and don't stop all weekend! I had a fun filled busy weekend, full of a maternity portrait session, World Cup games, guacamole, yard saling, Gypsy diver supporting, and a little bit of shopping at the end of Sunday to top it all off! ;-)

Saturday started out early with a maternity portrait session that turned out gorgeous out at my parent's house, what a sport they were in the 90+ degree weather. After that, I went to Thieves Market Antique Mall, http://thievesmarketnc.com/, where my mom works to browse and visit, then I headed to my friends from England and watched the US Vs. Ghana game (so sad that we didn't advance, but great that one African team is still in the cup), and finally back home and over to my friend's for some homemade gauc and tacos and another round of watching the world cup game!

My mom and I went to a yard sale on Sunday morning, that was also a fundraiser for a 17 month little girl that was diagnosed with Stage 3 Neuroblastoma cancer in March. It felt good to purchase other peoples unwanted items and have the proceeds going to such a great cause!

After the yard sale, I rushed home and headed out to the Fantasy lake quarry,http://www.fantasyscubapark.com/, to be the chef for the day at the Sunday picnic. This was my hubbies first open water certification dives as an instructor and I was so proud of him! If you want to take your adventures underwater and get certified, check out the Gypsy Divers website for Scuba class information! Link: Gypsy Divers: http://www.gypsydivers.com/Scuba/. You won't regret it, the underwater experience is beyond words!

Finally, after an afternoon in 102 degree weather at a rock quarry, I started driving home and decided that I deserved to go shopping for some new tops... I am a goodwill shopper and I recently purchased a tank top that I love, love, love. So I decided to check and see if I could find the same type at the actual mall... and I did, I really did! Loving Abercombie right now, seriously adorable tops!
