Bushek Wedding: Umstead Hotel and Spa

It was another beautiful wedding day in North Carolina. Lauren and George were married back in May at the Umstead Hotel and Spa. I have sadly just gotten around to posting their beautiful pictures on the blog. They were such a sweet, laid back couple that were truly meant for each other! Their ceremony was drop dead gorgeous outside on the terrace with this beautiful stone walkway. We didn't have any ceremony surprises like a "I do object to this wedding", but I did almost hear the guests gasp when I so discreetly fell of the back of the wall I had positioned myself on in the middle of the ceremony service. Yes, you are reading the blog correctly! Thank goodness, the wall was only a couple feet up and I didn't make too much rustling noise as I tried to climb my way back up the wall. I had the pleasure during the reception, to reassure just about every guest that I didn't hurt myself during the fall! I figure you got have some fun moments during the wedding or what would you write about in the blog!

We were also excited that we actually had about 20 mins with the Bride and Groom and the Bridal Party! For some reason a lot of our last year weddings ended up with about 5 mins for the Bride and Groom, so 20 mins was fortunate! We were also fortunate to have a beautiful lake and fountain a short walk from the ceremony site! Best Wishes to the happy couple!
