Engagement Session: Bass Lake

Jessi and David are one of those couples that started their acquaintance with a nice easy friendship that blossomed into a sweet and unwavering love for each other. There is something so sacred about marrying your best friend! We spent the late afternoon at Bass Lake where they will take their vows to each other on April 17th! They were so much fun to photograph, I just can't wait until their wedding! BTW... check out Jessi's awesome shoes! I love them!!!

Tara and Kenny: Engagement

This past weekend I had a blast with Tara and Kenny during their engagement session in Greensboro. They are such a fun, young, and vibrant couple. We were having such a great time that we had two different location shoots, ate some excellent Italian (pasta... my fav) and then had two more shoots. Kenny, whom is my husband's nephew, is a fireman for his local fire station and has an innate compassion for not just humans, but animals as well. Our first location shot was at their home with their adopted puppy whom is just the sweetest pup, and just so happens to be deaf. Not knowing the puppies inability to hear my commands to "sit", I was acting a bit of a fool trying to get Abby's attention with no success when they politely told me about her disability. Abby is such a sweet puppy and is learning commands by way of hand signals and the leash. It is just so wonderful that she is in a loving, compassionate home that will love all of her sweet puppiness!

Joanne and Justin: Impromptu Engagement Pictures

This morning, I had the opportunity to meet my bride and groom, Joanne and Justin, at their ceremony site to start picking out good photo opportunities for their wedding day. I brought my camera, of course, so I decided to make a little impromptu engagement session out of it in between mother nature's crying jags. They are such a fun couple and I can't wait until their wedding in October. Isn't Joanne just a beauty!
