New Equipment: 50mm 1.2 Arrival

It arrived, the 50mm 1.2 lens arrived!!!!!!!! It is sad but true that I get more excited about camera equipment then I ever would about diamonds or pearls! ;-) What can you do with a diamond... stare at it??? What can you do with a 50mm 1.2... capture memories! ;-)

This lens is one of those lenses that photographers either love it or hate it... I am a love it photographer and can't wait to use it at my next wedding on Saturday!!!!!

OK, so you obviously know what this blog is about.... I will give you one guess... Marketing would be the correct answer! Ding, Ding, Ding! My brother and I are trying to get ready for a local craft fair, Lazy Daze, in Cary, NC and I spent two days working on marketing material to hand out at the craft fair. I didn't actually have two days to spend, but I keep telling myself that is was for "marketing". I used a new online print lab and I am very impressed... I sent my order in around 2pm on Wednesday and received the items (free shipping) on Thursday afternoon! http://www.mpixpro.com/. Unfortunately, this print lab is for "professional photographers" only, so if you are... I would definitely recommend them!

Below is the Portrait Portfolio Soft Cover Book: I definitely recommend the softcover books at MpixPro. I used the linen paper for the inside pages, which turned out fabulous!
